And Jesus said,"Push out into the deep and let out your net for a great catch."

(Luke 5 :4)

Times haven't really changed, Jesus is still asking us to "push out" away from shallow thinking and prepare for a great harvest.

And Jesus prayed, "Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will." (Luke 14:36)

And Jesus spoke these things to his Father, "The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me." (John 17:22,23)

And Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God." 

(Matthew 5: 9)

And Jesus said, "Follow me!"

(Luke 5:27)

Note: Sometimes following Jesus is like a leap of faith, trusting Him to catch you before you hit the rocks.

And Jesus said, "Blessed are the merciful for they shall revieve mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. "

And Jesus said, "The Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He see the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all thing He Himself is doing." (John 5: 19-20)
