Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

(John 14;27)

And Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

(Luke 21:33)

And Jesus said,"Push out into the deep and let out your net for a great catch."

(Luke 5 :4)

Times haven't really changed, Jesus is still asking us to "push out" away from shallow thinking and prepare for a great harvest.

And Jesus prayed, "Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will." (Luke 14:36)

And Jesus spoke these things to his Father, "The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me." (John 17:22,23)

And Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God." 

(Matthew 5: 9)

And Jesus said, "Follow me!"

(Luke 5:27)

Note: Sometimes following Jesus is like a leap of faith, trusting Him to catch you before you hit the rocks.

And Jesus said, "Blessed are the merciful for they shall revieve mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. "

And Jesus said, "The Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He see the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all thing He Himself is doing." (John 5: 19-20)

And Jesus said, "Peace be still."

(Mark 4:39)

And Jesus said, "Blessed are gentle for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satified," ( Mat. 5:5-6)

And Jesus said to them, "You are experts at setting aside the commandments of God in order to keep your traditions." (Mark 7:9)

 We have become very skilled in holding onto the things we like and want.

And Jesus said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." (Mat. 5:3-4)

It is through humility that we find the pleasure of God.

Then Jesus said, "I am the Light of the world; he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." (John 8:12)

When we follow The Light it's much easier to see verything much clearer.

And Jesus answered, " Thou shalt love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength." (Mark12:30)

 Loving God and being loved by God is what life is all about.
